I'm about ready to JUMP off the fence

Now, where can I get them for the best price? Saw them on ebay and craigslist, but don't trust that they're not burned copies.

I bought mine through a local trainer who is an authorized BeachBody rep. He gave me a discount. But now that I know what the program can give, I'll gladly recommend paying full price if you can swing it.

I bought mine off Beachbody I know that I paid alot for mine but to me it is worth it, a program that can keep me motivated and building muscle. I would also recommend buying from somewhere that you know they are legit copies.

No, you cannot download this -- you can get it through BB or through a BB coach (usually the same price, but often better service).

I think if 10s are all you have, you won't do well with CLX, honestly. The point is slow and heavy lifting, and you'll find yourself lifting really heavy, especially in the Push (2nd month) phase. If you have the resistance bands, you can definitely do CLX with those -- there's someone in every workout using the bands instead of weights.

If it were just a space issue I'd say get adjustable weights like Powerblocks or SelectTechs, but if it's a $$ issue also that's no help -- they're not that cheap.

Ah -- if you meant illegal downloads --

I'm really against bootlegging -- software, movies, music, or DVDs like this. Would you shoplift in a store? Same thing, different technology. So, I'm not going to recommend this path, obviously.

I wish BeachBody had available payable downloads. I could have started a week sooner if they had given me that option!

Agreed! Aside from the tracking part of the guide (which is available as a better PDF than the one in the book) there aren't really any essential materials that you'd miss out on.

I'm heading downstairs to do Burn Circuit 3.

Conversation with my husband:

ME: my butt hurts
DH: from what?
ME: from yesterday's workout
DH: and you're going to do it again...

I totally agree with the selectech thing. My hubby and I are thinking about getting these. Not cheap and I have also seen some poor reviews on them cuz there is a lot of plastic on them and they say they may not be as durable as we would want for the price. So, for now, just sticking with the good ol regular dumbbells.... Gonna do BC1 today. how is everyone doing?????

I have microloading magnetic plates. Two pairs of 5/8# plates, and two pairs of 1 1/4# plates. I just stick them onto the dumbbells to help me bridge the 5-pound gap between the larger weights, either 1 1/4 pound or 2 1/2 pounds at a time.

Definitely not the illegal route. I was thinking if beachbody had downloads, but cheaper, since no DVDs are actually sent out.

::Hurts so good::

I'm thinking now of waiting until I can afford a good set of adjustable weights and maybe the price of the program will go down a little.

But, I'll be lurking and cheering you ladies on! I'll also continue with my exercise routine of course.

Good Luck everyone!

I bought mine from BB on three easy payments. Can you do easy payments? I bought the deluxe set, I think it was around $60/month. I had bought the wieder weights like select techs, and took them back. They didn't switch easy at all. I'm sure the select techs are better, but they were too much. I ended up buying a rack and dumbbell set from 5-25. I also have 30 and 40. To be honest, I only used 30 in the push month.

Morning All

Did Burn Intervals and Extreme Abs on Friday...thought I was going to die. Never should have tried Burn Intervals with 7 lbs. I must have been nuts. Anyway, going back to the 5's.

I did Burn 3 on Saturday with my 20's and finally got failure on some of the lower body exercises.

Tonight is Burn It Off and Recharge (maybe)

Have a great day everyone!

Angie, don't wait. Trust me. See if you may be able to score some used adjustable weights on Craigslist or Ebay. Or just a rack with dumbbells. Or, seriously, get some resistance bands. I found mine for $6/each at Marshall's.

The program is so freakin' worth it.

Klingon, I already have a good set of bodylastic bands, but I'm wondering if the workout will still be as good using bands rather than weights.

Does anyone use bands only?

I have the bands but haven't used them as I have a full set of weights, but on the workouts there is usually one of the girls using the bands for the whole workout.

Hey everyone!

I am checking in here. I am borrowing ChaLean from a friend who is training for a marathon and decided to put CLX off for now. I just got the DVDs yesterday and I'm ready to start today!

I checked out some of the workouts briefly when I got home last night - it looks like a really intense program! Doing Burn Circuit 1 when I get home tonight

Completed Burn it Off and Recharge last night, decided to go for the big stretch. I enjoyed it more this time than last. I think it would be good to do with the lights out and maybe just a candle lit, so it would feel less like a workout and more like pampering

Starting my last Burn 1 kind of sad...but I am looking forward to the next round.

I wish I would have done a little better on my diet than my results might be better, but oh well maybe this month. I am still going to take my measurements regardless maybe that will give me incentive to watch what I eat.

I am slightly sore all the time, I have been doing workouts 6 days of the week. I do a cardio workout on the other rest day and I only take a break on Sunday. I am sore somewhere on my body every single day, all that changes is which muscles! I think that is the way it is supposed to be though. When I do those plank knee-ins (not sure what she calls them) it makes my hips sore the next day. My body is mostly spent all the time

Hi everyone,
Off to do BC2. Just wanted to throw out there that I am a BB coach and can of course get any program that you would want. I promise I am not being pushy, just giving that option. I have all the BB programs and they are just great. I find it fun to go from one program to another and it keeps me fresh and motivated every 90 days or so!
I am a sore girl from BC1. You would think that after the first round I wouldn't get sore still, but I am going up in weight this time around. Hope it will help.....
Have a great evening everyone!
