Yesterday I completed Lean 3, Turbo Jam Fat Blaster and X Stretch. I was curious about p90x so I decided to do X Stretch to get a feel for the program. It was very relaxing. Today and tomorrow are rest days for me.

NikisMom can I see your progress pics? I can't receive pms yet but my email address is caf901@yahoo.com. I didn't take pics, I regret it now but I will for p90x so I'll owe you some pics.

I got the deluxe dvd for Chalean today so I will try it out next week in place of burn intervals and burn it off. I looked at the entire dvd a few mins ago and it has a few different moves but it's pretty much burn intervals burn it off and turbo jam all in one. But of course I wanted it because it's Chalean (and I didn't like my set looking incomplete)

Beachbody went the cheap route in packaging. I felt for the price I paid, it should have been in a jewel case and not within a piece of thin cardboard with shrink wrap. A bootlegger could have packaged it better.

I start my second of week of lean Monday. I think Lean 1 is 45 mins.

Got it. I'm not on facebook but I think I need to join.

Good job I can really see a difference. Your curves are really showing and your midsection is so much flatter. Also am I seeing the makings of a great six pack? I think so. You should be proud of what you have accomplished. You know when you look at yourself in the mirror daily, you think you aren't making that much progress, but when you take pictures, it really shows how far you've come.

Way to go. If you got those results with Chalean, just think what P90x will do.

I am counting down the hours . . . will do it tomorrow morning. I'm going to do it in this order: Lean 3, 1, 2 -- at the suggestion of CLXers on another board who found that this separated out the shoulder work better.

Today I did cardio -- I did Tae Bo Get Ripped Advanced. Whew! Halfway through, I decided that this was going to blow out my legs and mess up my Lean workout tomorrow, so I stopped after 30 minutes (instead of doing the whole thing).

Hey, we'll miss you! Will you come back here and report on how it's going? I probably won't do P90X next, but maybe in a few months, so I want to hear how you like it.

Porkfat - I broke up the workouts like that also once you had recommended that above. I'm not as sore as I was that first week, so I think I could do it in order, but this is my last week of lean so I'm just going to finish that way. You'll do great! Take your time and make sure you pay attention to good form! Tell hubby to warm up the oil for the massages this week!

Of course!!

I did my P90X Fitness Test - 21 perfect push-ups on my toes!! You put a folded towel under your chest and have to touch it. Pull-ups....not so much. In fact, none

HOLY COW! 21 TWENTY ONE! I could NOT do that many you monster! As for pull ups, I have a total gym, and I do mine on that when I do them. Last year I was doing 30 with each grip. There were three grips. Again though, you are assisted on an incline.

Finished week 3 of the burn circuit, but I didn't take any measurements and didn't weigh myself but I had an idea of what I weighed, I guess I better do the measurements so that I have something to gauge myself on.

Good luck Nikismom on P90X, have fun and let us know how you are doing, are you taking a break at all or are you starting P90X right away?

Lean 1 complete. I did so much better today than last week. I didn't have any lower back issues today. I did great with the planks and my push ups are really coming along, even my tricep push ups.

What a difference a week makes. Three more weeks, P90x here I come.

Poopiedo, you're giving me hope!

I did my first Lean today -- Lean 3 -- and I am a walking puddle of mess! I had a bunch of errands to run, went to Costco -- and I was whimpering every time I had to pick something up!

Whew!

That said, I think I'm going to use my weight belt again -- for moves like the lunge with overhead press, I can't in a zillion years do a press with any kind of weight that works my lower body that well.

Can't wait to see what Lean 1 will bring on Wednesday! OK, hobbling away now . . .

Did it kill you trying to close the car door and buckle your seat belt? Last week I was so sore I had to turn sideways to actually pull the belt so I could buckle it. I'm so much better this week.

Tomorrow is Get Lean Intervals and I've Got Abs. These are the deluxe add on workouts and I've never done them before. Pray for me

Poopiedo, that might be painful at first, but as you get warm it will actually feel good! This is my last week of Lean, then I'm off for a week (will do just cardio) and I am restarting this program. I was diagnosed yesterday with a metabolic disorder (low metabolism to none!) and I'm getting some good meds. I know I am stronger, but I think this program can bring me more when my body and thyroid gets fixed!

3Tikes - I am praying these meds work for you I think it is amazing that you completed this program while struggling with Thyroid issues...you seriously rock!!

Poops -- may I call you poops for short? -- you are so right. My arms and shoulders are still killing me. And, I'm feeling sore in my lower abs -- yay!

3tikes -- that really stinks! So unfair for our own bodies to get in the way. Good luck getting that sorted out!

Today was cardio -- I did TJ Cardio Party 3. Whew!

Wahoo! My workouts came today and I just finished Burn 1. Loved it! I find Chalene so encouraging and not at all annoying. I would kill for her sister's body. Yowza. I would have to grow a foot and lose a bizillion lbs, though.

a bizillion pounds. I would also have to grow a foot to have her sister's body. Glad that you enjoyed the workout. Chalean is very easy to listen to and encouraging.

Murray - I agree, in the first few posts, I idolized Janelle! However, as you will come to see - there are a few others that have become our idols as well

Porkfat - you kill me (can I call you Poops), I bet you are a really nice, funny, down to earth person. You make me laugh out loud - from Skips comments, to the lipstick, I thank you for that.

I did X Stretch last week because I felt I needed a good stretch and I'm just not feeling Recharge. I had only planned to do a few minutes of X Stretch and I ended up doing the entire workout. I felt so good and well relaxed afterwards. Still don't know how I will take the yoga though. I get ADD when stuff is too long.

Yeah Porkfat you can call me Poops, we're just one big CLX family.

Welcome to all the new CLXers. You will love the program.

I think that's why I can't consider P90X, I like the shorter workouts. I got especially spoiled in the push phase here. 45 minutes is my max. 35 is even better. I've been trying to do abs at night even if it's the 10 minutes one.
