Hello Kevinpadaughter!!!! So good to "meet" you!!
First let me again, give my condolences to you & your family! Tho Kevin & I never met in person, we did converse a little bit thru emails (not a lot, but some), and I considered him my friend!
He was such a great help to many of us here on this site. I was so sorry to hear the news of his passing!
Now, you asked how you could get in touch with these people, well you just did right here.
But if you want to try to reply to, or get in touch with, each person, you can click on their username in their post here, and click to send them a PM (personal message). Unless they haven't made enough posts on here, or they are no longer coming her (or following this post anymore), they should get it.

Oops, on second thought, I guess you can't do that yet, as you just joined, and haven't posted enough. There is a rule about having to do so many posts (& I can't rember who many) before you can send PMs.

But like I said, you just replied to everyone here.

I (I'm sure we all) would love to see pictures of your daughter, and see how she has grown! We heard a lot about you & her thru the years. Kevin was very proud of you both!
As
dawnyama just replied while I've been typing this up, I'm so glad you found us. We have all hoped you would find & see all these wonderful tributes to Kevin, and see how much he was admired, respected, and loved here (and other sites as well).

I didn't link to this thread--I linked to the forum with *all* the Kevinpa threads.

She said she found certain threads on Google, so she might not be familiar with navigating LCF yet.

OMG SHE IS JUST BEAUTIFUL, what an angel!!! I can't believe this is the same little girl in his profile picture, she is so grown up!! He must be so proud of her when he is watching her from above!

Your father was a truly kind and giving man and without him many of us would have given up LC long before we gave it a chance! His recipes encouraged many of us to "stick it out"!

I still use several of his recipes and I'm not even LCing, per say anymore!

You Dad rocked!!

i saw quite a few posts throughout my reading and i thought i'd respond to you as a whole as to how my father passed. Some of you knew a little bit and i did see mention of his suffering from polio as a child -which is absolutely the case. He had a number of problems towards the end - he was diabetic, he was hypertensive, because of the polio he had post polio syndrome , he was supposed to sleep with his c pap mask due to his sleep apnea and he in most cases was stubborn and did not. he as far as i can tell stopped taking his medications for pretty much everything as he was VERY depressed for the last 2 yrs of his life and also for some time beforehand . In 2009 my mother filed for divorce and left him and that started his downward spiral i never gave up on my dad and i had always hoped that one day hed realize just how many of us LOVED him and needed him around. I found him January 29th of 2011 and carried out his last wishes as we had discussed i wont go into any further detail -it all brings back some awful memories and that's not how i choose to remember my dad - he was a giving, caring , loving, intelligent man and SO funny - his smile could brighten up a room and if i close my eyes i can still hear his laugh . So you guys remember him how you see fit but believe me you he was one incredible person whom was taken too soon !! I LOVE YOU DAD

Like the others said, thank you for sharing with us. And we are here for you if you need to "talk". If you don't want to mention any of it again, then that's fine too.
As for myself, I choose to remember him as the person you described as a giving, caring , loving, intelligent man. That is how we all "saw" & knew him. That's how I want to remember him.
Hugs my dear! Keep the fond, good memories of him alive in your heart.
We'd love to have to stay here with us.
So glad you found us, and could see how much he was loved & admired here.

Hi, there. I've been away for more than 3 years, and am totally shocked and dismayed to find Kevin has left us.

I too was in a depressive state, and can empathize with both Kevin's closing in and with your concerns, now that I've finally worked my way back out again.

I wish you peace and strength, and want to say how much I am saddened to not have Kevin with us on this plane.

So good to see the eternity in the form of yourself and your lovely daughter, that Kevin so adored.

KP33: I've been a lurker for some time; and wished that I could have chatted with your dad personally, as my late husband died about the same time your father passed. My late husband was a pastry chef and also made the best bread as he learned from his father. I hope that everyone from this website will continue thinking f your dad, how generous of spirit that your father possessed ,and give a nice kiss to him above in heaven while making his recipes. There is no greater honor than using his recipes....what a legend!...he was 'da bomb' and is living thru each of us as we continue to create.
Your daughter is beautiful, BTW. Your dad IS watching.
Godspeed, my prayers are with you and your family.

Hi Kevinpadaughter

I only recently joined this forum, and it was because of your dad in large part. I was diagnosed with a hormone condition a few years ago and knew I needed to dial down the carbs to get healthy, and I did. I was searching for low carb flour mixes online and found your dad's recipes. I devoured his posts. Through my reading of them, I feel I grew to care about him, this man I never met or even exchanged a post comment with. His spirit just shone through. Always willing to help, go the extra mile, and always honoring any question. I had and have so much respect for him. For me, he will always be the superstar of LCF. Please know how very much he meant to so many, not just for his recipes, but for who he was. It came through powerfully in all he did here.

I can understand being depressed and sick. I've had a lot of my own ups and downs through the last several years. I feel maybe that helping out and sharing here was something that uplifted him. I relate to that. Even in my darker moments, helping always made me feel better. I know how much your little girl meant to him. And she is so beautiful I believe, as another poster here said, that we all live on in spirit and watch over those we love here on Earth after we pass. Allison DuBois (a medium) once stated that for our departed loved ones, we are their heaven. That makes sense to me. I am sure your dad is watching over you and your beautiful daughter, and perhaps even this forum. Thank you for posting the pics here.

Kevin, please feel all of our love I am sure your spirit is now happy and well. We will forever remember you and your legacy will live on in all those you touched, online and offline.

Love and light to you, your family and friends, and your dad. Somehow, I am sure he 'hears' us all.

Tracy
