Kevin
I made the cookies for the crust, crushed them and make it into a 9 inch pan...I pressed down hard but still when I took it out after 15 min the crust is really not that firm..but crumbly into the pie plate..looks just like your thou...wonder if I did anything wrong?? confused: I used the correct amount of everything in the cookies..they take good by themselves...and then processed into crumbs very well...I am thinking after it cools they crust might set up some..if not I am going to make your LC regular Pie crust like I did last year..

Thanks
HUGS!

Mac, if I remember right, this crust was a bit on the crumbly but the taste was right on so nobody ever complained. These days when I make a pie with a graham cracker crust(chocolate or plain) I use my LC graham cracker recipe and make a crust from it since the texture is way closer to the real thing. My regular crust works well also in this pie....depends on your mood.

I just joined this website and I printed out your recipe for graham crackers to make when my diabetic granddaughter comes to visit next week. I want her to be able to have a smore with all the other kids so I ordered sugar free marshmallows, sugar free chocolate chips (which I plan to melt down and cut into squares and I want to make your crackers. Do you not think they will be good? Being new, Idon't know where to find the carbquik version of flour. Can you help? Thanks

When it first came out I found some at Sam's Club. I haven't been back there in years so don't know if they still have it. If you click on Soobee's link it takes you to Netrition, the sponsor of this website. Shipping is 4.99 for your entire order and they are very reliable. Their prices are pretty much in line with what you would find in the stores and they ship quickly so don't be afraid of ordering from them!
