Anita, a few weeks ago I was getting ready to make these and I realized I didn't have a cup of straight isomalt. Since I was deviating from the original recipe by using my carbalose flour mix, I decided to wing it with what I had.
my subs were: 1 cup carbalose flour mix for 1 cup carbquick 1/2 cup diabetisweet for 1 cup isomalt 1/8 cup erythritol for 1/4 cup erythritol 3/4 tsp quick pack for 25 drop sweetzfree I thought they were every bit as good as the originals. HTH |

I wish I could have known Kevinpa but I'm new to the world of LC because of I only found out that I'm diabetic in Oct 2011. I was looking for recipes and was lucky enough to have come across Kevinpa's wonderful legacy of recipes on this site! I've made my order for all the ingredients and I'm ready to begin cooking thanks to Kevinpa! These brownies look like they are just what the doctor ordered and I can't wait to get my order from Netrition so I can cook up a batch! Again, thank you Kevinpa. I know that you are still shining down upon us and guiding us in the world of LC cooking from the big kitchen in the sky!
