Mmm! Made this for dinner last night and everyone loved it!
I did it a bit differently. I used about a cup of sour cream and 1/4 cup heavy cream and warmed this on the stove and then added my cheese to the warmed sour cream/heavy cream to melt it. This makes a rich sauce and seems to help with the grainy cheese issue. I then poured this over the entire mixture and then topped with a bit more cheese. I also added a pound of ground turkey that I browned with an onion to make it a complete meal. It was delicious! Thank you!
