MWL first day

Just started 2 days ago. Scary reading posts of people who have lost a lot of weight and then gained it back. (which, of course, I have done in the past) Don't really know how these support boards work bc I've never done this before but feel I need support. I have enjoyed reading other people's posts, advice and their experiences. Thanks for the support.

Welcome

Hi Wendyk

I have lost before and put some back but not all. I put it on bc I didn't take maintenance too seriously

My first day. The first week is hard, but gets easier. Good luck.

Hi Wendy, I started about a week ago and had the same reaction to some of the posts. But my counselor told me that once I reach maintenance it's really important to keep coming in once a month. I know this is a pretty big financial investment, but so is surgery and I really don't want to go that route. I know that I am never going to be someone who never has to worry about their weight , no matter how much weight I lose. So for me, I really think having that accountability of going in every month will play a big part in keeping the weight off.
