TELL ME PLEASE

Hello,

I am on day 2 of the Medi Program. I am feeling fine so far and not too hungry. I've been reading a lot of the posts and it seems like a lot of people put the weight they have lost back on.

Can I get a hell yea from the people who have kept the weight they lost off for a significant amount of time? Can you tell my how you are doing it?

Thanks!
Lee

There are only a few medi people here lots of low carb people

As with any diet if you don't make life changes you will put it back on

I have done weight watchers many times lost weight and gained it right back
And then some

Yes I agree with Stacey! I did loose a great deal of weight but gained lots back, but I have done the same with all other diets. This has been the first diet that I have been able to stick with and loose the initial amount of weight and I hope this time around when I complete it (instead of calling it quits short) I will be able to complete the maintenance phase and be able to stay healthy the rest of my life!

Medi is a lifestyle change. Just like any other program for losing weight, if you go back to the way you were eating when you get to your ideal weight, then you're going to gain it back. Medi has a maintenance phase that helps you add in healthy carbs at the end (brown rice, oatmeal, etc). As long as you continue to eat healthy the weight will stay off.

I was very successful with the program and kept the weight off...then I got pregnant. My son is 6 weeks old now and I'm back to medi because I know it works and I know it's easy to keep off.

Thanks

Thanks for responding. I was pleased after my last visit to Medi that at the end I will be able to add some carbs. I am doing good so far and still trudging along!

I just started the program yesterday. It was a hard time trying to incorporate all those pills in, haha. But today, I did it! Well... not ... the calcium... I need to buy a bottle of those. I'm going Tues to get a mid-week injection.

Hi Leslie,

I starting at a clinic 2 years ago and then after the 6 months in I went it on my own. I did great keep up with the program and with the support here I kept the scale moving. It is as others say a lifestyle change.
However, I had a huge set back and had to stop completely. I'm on day one today and know that this program does work. I will be doing this without the clinic. I know it can be done. Lets stay strong and we will see the results Medi does provide!

Thanks for the encouragement. Hopefully Friday (my first weigh in since starting) will show some good results!

Nice to read the encouraging comments! I agree that I went to Medi after deciding to make a lifestyle change. I like that it's based on real foods and medically supervised.
