A part of an all day conference yesterday and Friday....snacks provided were all carb filled and hated to do so but since few breaks munched as speaker lectured. Up again almost 2 lbs....I will have to focus and get that and MORE off this week. Didn't reverse my signature weight because I don't want this weight to stay on!

Interested to hear about your buffalo sauce Stacey!

Hellooo!!

Started Medi-Weightloss yesterday. I ate FINE but just all those pills... wow... today I've done better with the pills.
And something is making my pee neon yellow...ahh!!

I'm going on tues to get a mid-week injection and then my official weigh in is FRIDAY...

Hi, gang. I'm Michelle. Started medi a couple of weeks ago. I lost 7 pounds the first week. Last week was only down .9 but I was down 2.9 in fat and retaining water, so I'm hoping this week I will drop that water weight. The first week was really hard. I didn't feel great until about day 5. Now I'm feeling good, and not even relying on the suppressant much. Just wanted to pop in and say hi. Also, for the CT folks...anyone going to the new West Hartford center?

Hot Sauce

I'm starting back again after 2 yrs. One of my favorite spice it up sauce was actually a paste. It is called SAMBAL OELEK, it is ground fresh chili paste.
It was my go to each day around 3 pm to add to my broth to sip and also to add to my crockpot chicken breast. I have just bought 2 jars to have on hand. I get it at Stop & Shop. You can use it with anything you want a kick in! I know I will be using it.

Been away for a few days but I'm back. Day 3 of week one. Had a slight dull headache at the end of day 2. Took 2 aleve and went to bed. Woke up today(day 3) the headache was gone but I've been hungry most of the day. I'm pushing through and don't want to lose the momentum.

Day 3 and 4 were really bad for me. Not hungry so much because I had the suppressants, but weak, dizzy and nauseous. Day 5 I felt fantastic though. Hang in there!! You can sip on some low sodium broth if you are hungry, makes you feel a little better.

this morning went to get mid-week B12... was fine til I got to work then I felt dizzy. I think it's because I was hungry lol. Ate some chopped beef fajita. Didn't even feel hungry for lunch to be honest.

Hi everyone. I did Medi program about a year ago and had to quit due to finances and personal family issues. I need to lose about 40 pounds and plan to do this on my own. I would love the support. I plan on starting tomorrow.

Welcome Wonderwoman

I did Medi 2 years started at the clinic and found it to be costly. I went off on my own did great and then due to head injury I had to stop.
I'm back and ready to also lose 40lbs. It's not easy but, with great support here we can do it. I also started a thread called What are you eating to share our menus and give us some new ideas.

Hey gang. just checking in. I'm scared for my weigh in tomorrow. Went on vacation last week and just went completely nuts. So many carbs!!! And lots of drinks. I just got back into ketosis this morning (been home since Saturday night) and getting back on track to lose again. I needed to get my mind back in the medi-mode, so I am glad this board is here. It really helps with the motivation!

Hi all!

My name is Stephanie, i'm new to this place =) I started Medi in July of 2012 with great success. I lost about 35 pounds in about 4 months and was really happy! Right afterwards my better half was relocated to Italy (US Army) and I came along with him. It's been a struggle ever since! I've gained about 25 of the 35 pounds back and now I'm trying to lose it again. There's obviously no clinic here so I'm doing it myself! I have all of the supplements here with me so that's helping. 5 days in so far, definitely a rough week! Nausea, weakness, dizziness. Definitely not fun but i'm hoping i'll feel better soon.

How is everyone doing? What is your own personal story? I would love to hear!

Hopefully this forum keeps going so we can all motivate each other!

Welcome! It has got to be difficult to avoid the gelato But what a wonderful place to walk and enjoy so much history!!! My DD and DH and I visited briefly in the summer of2008.

I lost several years ago and regained. I DO need the motivation of a fresh face around here : ) I haven't started full force again, but what I have done has helped me maintain. It's time to get this weight off again!!

Hello Everyone! Goal Weight Question

Hello everyone,

A newbie here. I joined Medi 11 weeks ago and have lost 33 lbs. as of yesterday. I have been reading this board for several weeks and have been encouraged by all of you along the way. I have a question about goal weight and BMI and wanted to get all of your thoughts on this.

At my weigh-in yesterday, my counselor said the dr. will want to talk to me next week since I am so close to my goal weight. Apparently, they consider you at goal weight as soon as your BMI reaches 25. However, that would still put me 10 pounds heavier than where I want to be. I'm wondering why they want you to stop as soon as your BMI gets to 25, since a healthy BMI is a range and even once I lose the extra 10 lbs. that I want to lose, my BMI will still be within a healthy range - at 23.

I am planning to ask them this question at my weigh-in next week but I wanted to get your opinions. While I would like to continue with Medi into maintenance, if they insist that I stop, then I guess I will have to stop Medi and lose the last 10 on my own. Any thoughts, opinions, suggestions?

kj - I don't have an answer for you on that one. But PLEASE do the maintenance for a while....that is where I made my mistake the first time (that plus rebelling when my personal limit was going to be 1300 cal/daily per MWL due to my metabolism, etc and I was sick and in grad school) Blah, blah, blah.

BUT--11 weeks and you have lost 33 lbs....congrats to you!!!!!! Mind me asking what you have been eating? (Some people get stuck and eat the same things pretty much over and over, I wondered if that was you too?!)
