Discouraged after week-2 weigh in :(

Blahhh so yesterday was my 2-week weigh in and I gained 2 lb of fat, my net loss was 2.7 lb but not in what I needed to be losing! The nutritionist said it was because I wasn't drinking enough water but Ohmigosh, if I drink anymore water I'm going to explode!
Now I'm discouraged because I am following the plan to the letter! Going to up the water from 90+ oz to at least 124 oz like she suggested and see what happens next week. Just need some positive thoughts/ideas please!

I'm not sure what the explanation is, but I'm sending you lots of positive thoughts and ideas. My home scale does have the fat/muscle/water weight option but I just consider a loss a loss and a gain a gain.

And remember, our bodies have a built in resistance to dietary change. Is it possible that your body thinks it's going into starvation mode from the sudden shortage of calories and start creating more fat thinking it may be used later?
