Fancy Scales

Has anybody purchased one of those fancy scales to tell you what your fat % is doing? I ordered one but haven't received it yet, and am interested in how accurate it is compared to the one they have at the center.

Please let me know your experiences :shake:

Hello,

I had a fancy scale a few years ago. My experience was that it's not worth the money. Even the one's in the center aren't as accurate as say a Dexa machine. But there may have been some updates in technology since.

Came today, same day I had my analysis which showed I have 36% body fat. The fancy scale indicated 26%. Darn.

I don't know how, but the seller of the scale left a message on my machine and gave some advice....changing my height to 4 invhes shorter than i really am seems to make the scale correlate well with the mediweightloss scale, now they are nearly identical with regard to fat %

our clinic however is going through some overhauls. The M.D. Owner sold our clinic to focus on her other one, the new owner is not a physician, the new dr "didn't work out" so I saw a very nice bariatric general surgreon who use to own his own weight loss clinic but since he was a dr and not a business owner his clinic didn't survive, and he is only going to be here at this clinic for 2 more days. I really have not needed the appetite suppressants, so am thinking about quitting the clinic and just relying on the scale and vitamins taken orally. I really don't buy that injected vitamins do anything except convince people to rely on the clinic.
