Struggling with Breakfast...ideas?
Breakfast is my hardest meal right now. I really miss my carbs. For you carb lovers out there, what have been your best breakfasts on Medi? I want to try some recipes, but want to get recommendations first.
Thanks. |

Bob's Red Mill TVP (Texturized Vegetable Protein). You can get it at some grocery stores, and most health food stores, or online. It has the texture of oatmeal, but not much taste one way or another. With some almond milk and a half of scoop of vanilla protein powder, it's just like a bowl of oatmeal to me! I heat it in the microwave for a couple of minutes, but you have to watch it, because it always boils over for some reason.

Maybe I'll try that. I haven't had good luck with protein powder...finding one that I like the taste of. I do miss my oatmeal!

My favorite is Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Isolate, Vanilla Creme. I bought it at Walmart. To me it's good just mixed with water, which is a first with all the ones I've tried.
