Recipes....when can I start using them?
I'll finish week 1 on Friday, when I have my next appointment (oh, btw, DH has decided to join me on Medi!). I'm looking at all these recipes on here and wondering....when do I get to start trying these out? Are they only for when you're in maintenance?:dunno:
I waited until week 2. During week 1 you are only counting protein calories. Most of the recipes will contain some type of carbs that you want to avoid in your first week.
When you go to your appointment, be sure to ask them the carb range you should stay in for the day. I had to bring a recipe in and have them go over it with me, I didn't get it right away.
Man, I am craving the carbs but CrazyCat is right. Stick to it the first week. It will reduce your cravings and you'll be better for it. It's a tough first week. Be strong.
