Any other men out there on MWC?
I see a lot of women working hard and getting results on this, but is this working for the men out there?
I'm in Week 2 - weighing in on Wednesday. |
There are some men here, but there doesn't seem to be as many as the woman. This board doesn't seem to be super busy (I've only been coming here for a couple of months myself), so don't feel bad if you don't get responses right off. Good luck on Wednesday! :-)

We don't have a center near us, so I'm trying to do this myself, and my husband would like to start, but I don't know the calories he's supposed to have. Would you mind sharing man-centric details? Thanks! |
My husband went to the clinic with me from April 27th - June 28th and he lost over 40 lbs during that time without hardly exercising at all. Butthead. LOL I think he actually hit the 30 lb mark within the first month.

Take a look at this blog.
Watch Me Lose 300 Pounds – A weight loss blog Jerry lost 300 pounds on the program.....a truly inspirational story...and he is a really nice guy! Jo |
I am in the transition phase right now. When I started I was 237 and I have lost 50 lbs. I could not be happier with the program it has truly change my life. Oh I am a 46 yo male. Just remember what you are going for is a life style change.
Ok I know this tends to be a female thing but...I can't tell you how good it felt to go out and buy an all new wardrobe dressshirts and pants because all of my old ones looked so baggy on me. Will take a guy to appreciate this but I went from wearing xlarge dress shirts with a 17.5 neck to wearing large with 16.5. And my pants used to be all 36" waist (strechy ) to 32" tailored fit. I haven't felt this good about my shape since I was in the USMC. A couple words of encouragement, stick with it you can do it. The difference in how you will feel is unbelievable |
I was doing medi up until May 15th 2012
I am still dieting. I started at 343 now current weight is 253. Going for 230.
