Help with understanding Ketosis levels
I have done well so far and am starting my 5th week. Down nearly 20 pounds at this point. Over the last 5 days or so, my test strip readings have been getting lighter. I was always on the moderate for the first 3+ weeks (40) but then it started getting lighter - 1.5 / 15 at first and today I was on the "trace" level 0.5 / 5. I was on pink (15) the morning of my last appointment, but the staff member said I was still in ketosis. The confusing part is, during my initial visit, I was told I should be in the moderate / large area (40-80). Any thoughts?

I'm no expert, so maybe someone else will answer that knows more than I do, but I know I've heard that a lot of things can affect your ketosis testing. I believe exercising is one, and since lack of water causes a darker reading, I would assume a lot of water would cause a lighter reading (even though a lot of water is a good thing). I've also heard some people just don't test as high. I've always tested in the highest two squares no matter what I do, even the first test in the middle of my first week!
