Ugh! Pizza day at work!
 
I brought my salad (extra big today) along with a half of avocado (good fat to fill me up) and I requested Buffalo Chicken Strips instead of pizza. But !@#$%, that pizza smells GOOD!!! Wish me luck!

I did, thanks! I ate my two itty bitty buffalo chicken strips with my salad and it was really good. I had made some ranch dressing with fat free greek yogurt, so it went really well together. The funny thing though, I've been trying to cut down on sodium (I'm a salt-aholic), and I didn't think I was doing very well, but when I bit into that chicken, whoa! It was SO salty!

I found that mentally psyching myself out to believe that I'm stronger and better than the rest for not indulging. I would go to the table with the donuts or pizza, look at them, talk to others, then walk. People were amazed. I used the opportunity to empower me. Sometimes that kind of self encouragement is stronger than self motivation.
