Please help! HUNGRY, and need inspiration

Hey everybody,

So I did the Medi weightloss a while back and I don't remember it being this hard! I'm on day one and I'm on the verge of losing the battle with cravings. I'm currently on vacation with my family and they are practically BEGGING me to drink and eat food normally.

This is very tough. I can't remember, but when should my body adjust to the low carbs and how soon will my cravings not be as bad?

I feel as though I'm dying, please respond!

Thanks,

Chapman

day 4 was when i felt MUCH better. its so drastic it was like a switch was flipped and i went from groggy and slow to wow, i feel great!

the suggested chicken broth got me thru day 2-3 when i wanted to eat but had no more calories left.

hang in there!

I would have to say it would be very challenging to start while on vacation but that being said I believe its a mindset... you have to remember why you are starting this, its one week of getting into ketosis basically then you have a bit more flex. I had to explain to people at work why I was eating this way and even now they dont understand how I can eat so little. Its not about what you eat, its about the quality of whats being eatten, basically I can eat less since what I am eating sustains me longer than what they are eating... others will not typically understand this you, just have to be strong and do it for you. You are worth the effort

Hey,

I just finished Week One a little while ago, so I can definitely relate! It's hard, but you've already done it once, so try to stick it out.

I agree with LTinNC, around Day 4 it gets better; by that point (according to my clinic) you should be in ketosis, which has a beneficial side effect of appetite suppression. Chicken broth helps when you're hungry, but watch the sodium ( the College Inn brand seems to have the best nutritional info). Sugar free jello is good when you want something sweet (for only ten calories!) too.

Are you taking prescribed appetite suppressants? Those could help, even beyond Week One.

Good luck!

Gabrielle
