Medi weight loss 3rd day, but?
Day 3 start date May 31, 2012 the first and second was awful for me headache I guess my body is missing those carbs, but to bad I'm getting this weight off. Lol I have been doing great today though had to force the 500 cals.
But the but in the header is this, I will just be starting my TOM when I go for my first weigh in Thursday and I just hate that because I usually put 3-5lbs of ww on, so scared of what the scale will say, according to my scale at home I'm down 5lbs and my home scale is dead on with medi which is good. Should I be fearful. Smiles ![]() ![]() ![]() P.S. I'm sure that 1st 5lbs is just water. But still happy about it. |

One of the many things I love about Medi is the Tanita scale so you can see changes in fat and water. There have been many weeks that I have lost fat, gained water, and had little or no overall loss. That drove me crazy when I did WW, but with Medi I can see that I'm losing fat and retaining water. The next week, the water's down too and I have a nice loss.

Good luck with your WI. It is a journey. You will be amazed how much of that 5lbs may not be water when you step on the Tanita. I lost 9.6 the first week and 5+ lbs of it was FAT

I would suggest weighing at your clinic appointment only. Weighing during the week on your home scales can be frustrating and upsetting...and oftentimes not as accurate as you would like. I put the scales away during the acute phase...and now only weigh once a week. It is hard to give up the daily weigh habit...but it will help you in the long run. Watching a scale is just not worth the aggravation...the daily ups and downs and weight variations during the day....nope...once a week is better for your mindset. Trust me on this, been there, done that! and yes...got the tshirt!
It is more important to focus on your mindset towards food, what you eat, why you eat it and what it does to your body. Listen to your body. You may be surprised how much you can learn. Jo
