Week 2 help!

Ok! So I feel like this isn't going to work! I lost 13.2 lbs my first week. Most of it was water. Now I am just finishing day 2 of week 2. I weighed myself and I am up 4 lbs from my weigh in 2 days ago?!? How is this possible? I am following the program religiously!? Help!!

Its probably just water. My water goes up and down week to week, so if it looks like I haven't lost much, or even gained by my home scale I don't worry about it. On their scale I've usually lost a good amount of fat and gone up in water. If you're following the program, its going to work.

I know, in the beginning it was hard for me to believe it'd work when everything else hadn't. The first time I noticed my scale hadn't moved much, which was week 3 I think, it worried me. But their scale showed my water up, fat way down, and since then I try not to let it get to me.

Try to wean yourself away from weighing everyday. It is nothing if not totally frustrating. I suggest weighing at the clinic only. Put the scales where the sun doesn't shine...at least for now. You will find that focusing on your health rather than the scale will help you more.

Husband has hidden the scale. I had a very discouraging visit with the counselor I saw. Even though I lost 13 lbs! I just called the clinic and spoke to the office manager because I just had some general questions. She was soooooo supportive and answered all my questions. Even the silly ones....much easier to do when you feel supported at the clinic!!

Oh no, what happened with the counselor? I've luckily only had good experiences with mine, but I have read on here about several people not finding their counselors supportive. 13lbs is a fantastic loss. I agree that the support makes a big difference.

You may also want to sdd yur "stats" into your profile data so that we can all celebrate your success with you! It really helps to see the actual numbers- it brings it all home to you in a direct and visual way.
