My Journey from 322

I am the heaviest I have ever been. Wife and I started this program back in November, just before Thanksgiving / birthdays / Christmas. In hindsight, big mistake. We made it that much tougher on ourselves. We managed to stick with it about 3 weeks and fell off the wagon. We saw really good results, but it was just so hard resisting temptations with the holidays.

We started it up again yesterday and are 200% committed to seeing it through this time. I dont care how bad I may feel or miserable I could get, I am not stopping this. I have to keep reminding myself that I have no choice. If I continue on like I am, I will end up dying in front of my son from a heart attack or other obesesity related issue. That is unnaceptable for me!

Ok, off my soapbox!

I am on day one now! My first weigh in back in november I was 322. I weighed yesterday for my first appointment now, and was at 316. My goal weight is 210lbs. I will be absolutely thrilled when i break back down into the 200s again.

Here we go. This train aint stopping until I am healthy again! Choo Choo!

Move forward with conviction because you can do it. Settle into tbe idea that its a lifestyle change... learn about why low carb / medi works, read gary taubes, watch the fathead video, you tube video sugar the bitter truth. Good luck to you and your wife!!

Good luck, MediMan! I made it into the 200's a few weeks ago and am now working towards my next goal of getting below 250. Just stay focused and don't get discouraged! You can do it!!
