Has the clinic reviewed your food log? It always seems to slow up as you have less to lose. I had a couple slow weeks and when they reviewed mine they asked me to really watch the carb count. Check for problem foods like diary, almonds, different foods slow different people.

I agree I would look over your food log and see if there is anything that might be causing the problem. For example, I can't eat peanut butter, or it makes my weight loss stop. I could look back over my logs and see that the weeks I ate peanut butter I didn't lose.

This may not be what you want to hear, but every time I have hit a plateau with low carb in the past, I go off plan for about 4 days and get completely out of ketosis. I always gain about 2-3 lbs (water), then go back into hard core week 1 plan. It take about 3-4 days to get back in ketosis, then look out, I wind up dropping like 6 lbsthat week (including the 2-3 I gained). It always breaks the stall for me. In center they wont recommend it though!
Dont go crazy and eat like a chocolate cake or something, but have a cheese burger with a bun, a couple of drinks, whatever. Then jump back in with both feet. At least that is what I do! I cant say that it would work for everyone. |
