Hey all! I have hit a plateau! HELP!!!!!

so its been a few weeks since I have posted. Had a weigh in today. For the past month I have lost mere grams and ounces of fat and just a few lbs. I have 10 more lbs to loose!!!! I have hit a wall. Any advice???? THanks so much! :)

Has the clinic reviewed your food log? It always seems to slow up as you have less to lose. I had a couple slow weeks and when they reviewed mine they asked me to really watch the carb count. Check for problem foods like diary, almonds, different foods slow different people.

I agree I would look over your food log and see if there is anything that might be causing the problem. For example, I can't eat peanut butter, or it makes my weight loss stop. I could look back over my logs and see that the weeks I ate peanut butter I didn't lose.

if you love peanut butter but hate the fat, look for PB2 its FABULOUS and far better then even low fat peanut butter :)

I think I may do a straight week no carbs at all and see what happens maybe too many veggies... UGH!!!!

hadn't seen anything from you, have you worked through the stall?

This may not be what you want to hear, but every time I have hit a plateau with low carb in the past, I go off plan for about 4 days and get completely out of ketosis. I always gain about 2-3 lbs (water), then go back into hard core week 1 plan. It take about 3-4 days to get back in ketosis, then look out, I wind up dropping like 6 lbsthat week (including the 2-3 I gained). It always breaks the stall for me. In center they wont recommend it though!

Dont go crazy and eat like a chocolate cake or something, but have a cheese burger with a bun, a couple of drinks, whatever. Then jump back in with both feet. At least that is what I do! I cant say that it would work for everyone.
