Starting MEDI today 2/28/12!
Im just starting medi today and was wondering if anyone can give me any tips for the first week, which I hear is the hardest!!!!
Other than that Im excited! But Im a lil nervous cuz I can only take 2 App. Sup. a day b/c I had a high heart rate...:dunno: |
Good luck! You can do it! I am on week 4 as of 2/27 and have lost about 13 pounds so far :) Week one wasn't terrible...but is is an adjustment and there are times during the week when you will have to give yourself the "pep talk". The App Sup will definitely help, and to be honest there are many days when I only take 2 and I am absolutely fine! Drink lots of water - it helps. And...have some sugar free gum around because you will notice this weird taste in your mouth once you hit ketosis.

Good luck!! Like r83nelson said drink lots of water and keep the gum around. I would just break up the sticks of gum in smaller pieces and just chew it briefly to help with the bad taste in my mouth. I also tried to space out my food throughout the day. I think it wsa the 2nd night that I was incredibly hungry, but I just drank some water and brushed my teeth and tried to stay busy. Also I like the VitaWater Zero so that helped with the hunger. After about the 4th day it starts getting better. You can do it!!

Also, I'm hooked on turkey pepperoni! I microwave a couple slices and will eat those if I have a hunger craving. They are low calorie and just a couple help my stomach stop talking to me when I'm hungry.
