Hello
Hi there!! I'm approaching week 2. Today is day 7 of week one and so far so good. I usually fall apart after the third or fourth week. Really need some encouragement and support. Hopefully I can return the favor!!!

I also am on day 2 of week 2. I lost 10.7 in week one yay !!... Somehow for me having to add the veggies back in can be a challenge. But I'm trying!!! It's great to have this board to turn to!! Welcome ! I'll be here for the long haul and could use a few buddies to take the ride with me!!

I have another day that will take me into week 2, I don't know how much I weight till Friday but I will say that I finally gave into cheating today. I went to the buffet and ate almost 10 stuffed mushrooms with Philadelphia cheese, & a slice of cheese cake. I'm going to drink me a dieters tea and maybe even do a grapefruit epsom salt detox hoping that it will correct me. I can't believe I did that and just found this forum today. Has anyone cheated to where is completely messed them up or know of any good corrections? Also, does anyone know if I should weight myself more during the week rather than just waiting for the weekly clinic appt? Thanks, happy releases guys

Hello mediflowergirl...
Get back on ur protein only for at least 3 days even though you're going into week two..it should put you back into ketosis. And push the water. We all slip up don't beat yourself up about it.. I stay off my scale at home..if I happen to be up in water I want to know its that and not fat and the clinic allows me to break it down. A bad number can mess with my head. You can do this.. Ask yourself why your want to cheat and then turn away from the food. welcome to the boards!! |

I wasn't given a certain number of carbs...just to add veggies and or fruit and a healthy fat. I keep the carbs as low as I can.

They didn't give me a number for the carbs either until I asked. I think it was my 3rd week, I just asked the nutritionist what amount I should stay under, because she told me I could increase my veggies that week. So that's when she told me no more than 30g.

Hi everyone!!1
Just finished week 2 yesterday and down another 3 pounds! Total of 13 pounds in 2 weeks. Seems like my appetite wasn't as bad as it was in week one. All I ate for dinner was a medi Bar. Just wosh I could find a cheaper alternative. have been all over the net and usually they all have 160 cals and 7-10 gms of fat. Does anyone know of a good tasting bar that is low in cals and fat??? On to week 3..... |

My second week I was allowed 2 servings of the approved week 2 veggies or one veggie serving and one of the approved fruit servings. The fruit servings are one oiece of fruit, a cup of raw veggies or 1/2 cup cooked veggies. The fruit has around 15g of carbs so I just do the 2 veggies/day and leave the fruit alone. Usually 1 servings of broccoli or brussel sprouts is 7g. So I take in around 15g/day. The carbmaster yogurt has 4g of carbs but I try to consume only one/day keeping the daily total around 20g. I love thise 100 cal packs of almonds as my healthy fat!!!
