Today I had my 7th weigh in on the program and Gained .3 lbs

Good afternoon all too all you losers out there!!!

Today I had my 7th weigh in on the program and Gained .3 lbs

My son’s birthday and Easter were last week

I gained 11.4 lbs of water and lost 15.2 lbs of fat due to some bread and cake last week

Should be able to get all that water gone by next Tuesday and see a large weight loss !!!

I too have to lose 100 pounds or more to be in my goal weight... I just started MWL on 04/06/2012 and have my first weigh in in the morning!

FIRST WEIGH IN

First weigh in had me 10.4lbs less!!! Woot woot... one step closer to being in the 100's again (never thought that alone would make me happy...)

i am getting paranoid though and find myself wanting to weigh constantly. Bad idea right?

Hello to my fellow warriors and soldierettes waging this battle against fat! LOL

Had my second weigh in today and down 4 pounds! 100 pounds to go! DH made a comment today about how clothes that used to be tight on me are now looking a bit loose. Always a wonderful thing since I hardly notice the difference... I have developed a mirror phobia ever since I became heavy. Hopefully that will change soon.

The weekend is finally here! Love to be off of work, but it's more challenging to stay on the plan! Tomorrow I'm meeting some friends at a Mexican restaurant and I'm trying to figure out what I can eat. Any suggestions?

Don't think I did too well at the Mexican restaurant yesterday I read over the menu and picked something that I thought would be good, but it wasn't what I expected when it came out. Oh, well... Hopefully, it didn't set me back too much.

I'm getting bloodwork drawn tomorrow so I can't eat in the morning (appt is at 11:30). Last time the nurses had a hard time getting my blood and I think it may have been because I had not drank much water beforehand, so I've been drinking tons of water today and will try to drink more in the morning (I have a hard time drinking water in the morning for some reason).

I had to weigh-in later today and was wondering how it would affect my numbers since I usually weigh more later in the day. I lost 4.8 lbs so I'm now up to 65 lbs lost! Still a long weigh to go, but it's so encouraging to be losing something each week. And not only was today pay day, but I also received my federal and state tax refund today so I may finally go shopping this weekend for some new clothes!

IRS GUIDE LINES

Weight-Loss Program
You can include in medical expenses amounts you pay to lose weight if it is a treatment for a specific disease diagnosed by a physician (such as obesity, hypertension, or heart disease). This includes fees you pay for membership in a weight reduction group as well as fees for attendance at periodic meetings. You cannot include membership dues in a gym, health club, or spa as medical expenses, but you can include separate fees charged there for weight loss activities.
You cannot include the cost of diet food or beverages in medical expenses because the diet food and beverages substitute for what is normally consumed to satisfy nutritional needs. You can include the cost of special food in medical expenses only if:
1. The food does not satisfy normal nutritional needs,
2. The food alleviates or treats an illness, and
3. The need for the food is substantiated by a physician.
The amount you can include in medical expenses is limited to the amount by which the cost of the special food exceeds the cost of a normal diet. See also Weight-Loss Program under What Expenses Are Not Includible, later.

Nutritional Supplements
You cannot include in medical expenses the cost of nutritional supplements, vitamins, herbal supplements, “natural medicines,” etc. unless they are recommended by a medical practitioner as treatment for a specific medical condition diagnosed by a physician.
Otherwise, these items are taken to maintain your ordinary good health, and are not for medical care.

2.3 lbs lost today and total of 67.5 so far! This Friday is my birthday so I'm really tempted to splurge on some birthday cake, but I don't want to slow down the weight loss! It's been really nice lately getting so many positive comments from people noticing the weight loss.
