I haven't been able to walk all week due to my schedule and now it is a very rainy Saturday. I need to get out of the house or I'm afraid I'll overeat! It's so much easier for me to stick to the plan during the work week than on weekends. I've thought about going to the movies but I'm afraid the smell of popcorn will be too much.

I go to a clinic just outside of Richmond, VA. I probably should have gone to work so I could have gotten something accomplished today! I did end up going to the movies (saw The Good Deeds which was good!) and didn't get anything other than a diet coke. I made sure I ate something and took the appetite suppressant before. And then I was lucky in that I got to the movies just as the previews were starting so I didn't have to see all those popcorn and snack ads they show.

Congratulations on getting to see the movie without popcorn. Just the smell of popcorn would make me insane (I could eat a large popcorn ALONE!). Today I'm spending my day planning my meals for the week. I enjoy cooking which makes it more fun to be a bit creative. I finish Week #3 with a weigh-in on Tuesday morning. I'm still in awe that I maintained self-control (with the exception of 1 evening with a bag of walnuts early in week #2). Although I've been told not to get on the scale at home, I stepped on this morning and woooo hooooo saw 179.6! I wonder if that will improve by Tuesday!

I started the same day in the Ballantyne office in CLT going for my 4th weigh in tomorrow. I am 22.7lbs as of last weigh in.

![]() I had my weigh-in this afternoon and lost 3.8 lbs! I need to lose more than 2.2 lbs to be back into the 200's, which is something I haven't seen for years. My blood pressure was the best it has been since I started going to the clinic, too (120/80). I love logging on to the MWL website and seeing my numbers since I started. It really helps motivate me to keep going when it doesn't seem like the scale is budging. Good luck to everyone on their weigh-ins this week! |

I'm right here with ya.. i have set a mini goal of 290 and then i will go from there. I have not been under 300 in quite a few years. I have set a monthly goal of 10 lbs. This may seem low, but will keep me from self sabotage if i was not to meet a higher goal. Of course I will work hard and jump for joy when I lose more than 10 per mo. 1st week down 7 very happy! To a healthy life........

24 hours until my next weigh-in and I'm really anxious! If I lose over 2.2 lbs, I'll be in the 200's for the first time in years! I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be looking forward to a Monday getting here, but I'm really hoping this week is a good one for me.

Well, I had to lose over 2.2 lbs to get into the 200's and I lost...... exactly 2.2 lbs!! Haha! It figures!! At least, I have something to look forward to for the next weigh-in. And if I lose 1.2 lbs, I'll hit that 50 lbs lost mark. I talked to my PA about how to portion out my calories throughout the day. I think I'm eating too little in the morning because I really get hungry during the day, even with the appetite supressant. At night, I feel like a pig because I have lots of calories left for the day to eat. So this week I'm going to try to eat more calories at breakfast to hopefully help with those hunger pains. How do you all break up your protein calories between breakfast, lunch and dinner? Thanks! |

That's how I started out, too....saving calories. I was told that was the opposite way to go about it. Your biggest meal should be breakfast, and dinner your smallest. You burn more calories during the day. Once I switched my calories around this way, I noticed more consistent losses and I never feel hungry. Give it a shot!
