Anyone Watching "My 600 lb. Life" on TLC ?

The first of 4 people, whose weight loss journey was followed for 7 years, aired last night.
My 600-lb Life - My 600-lb Life Videos : Videos : TLC

I hope I'm remembering the following details right....

After one of 2 or 3 surgeries to remove excess skin and some fat, this lady last night got herself into more trouble because she was moving her body and arms when she wallked like she was still her largest size and it prevented some of her incisions from healing.
She ended up in the hospital 2 or 3 months until the incisions in her waist area healed.
Her excessive movements while walking, were not necessary anymore....it was just how she had become accustomed to walking and hadn't realized she no longer needed to do that.

After reaching her goal, her bariatric surgeon hired her to speak to new patients of his to help them thru the whole thing.

Next Wednesday at 8pm CST the 2nd person will be featured.

This made me think about how so many people stay fat in their heads.
I've noticed in the past after losing weight, I can still have the sensation that the fat is all still there.
I don't know if this is related to "phantom limb" feelings people have after losing an arm or leg. Without looking, they can still have the sensation(s) that it is still there.

I wanted to watch it! When I turned it to TLC, it was that Toddlers and Tiaras show.

I definitely want to watch it. I think those stories are amazing. Thanks for the reminder!

Oh wow - I just watched the videos on the TLC website and those stitches on the trailer look so painful! OMGoodness!

Last night I suddenly remembered that it was on about 45 min. after it started but then I noticed they repeated it right after the first one.
Seems like it was an hour and a half show.

I'm definitely watching the next 3.
