Swirveegrl, congratulations on your 1 year anniv. !
That's great !

Just dropped in to say I'm glad I found MWL.
I stayed the same last weigh-in Thursday, but I know what I did that was extra, so I know to avoid that.
Lost 34.5 lbs. so far and have 35.5 to go.

2.6 more down today 14.2 total gone on week 5 weigh in! On my first visit with Medi she asked what my goal weight was, I said 135 (thinking 125 would be unrealistic... but I think I may have to take that back if things keep dropping like this!! Hope you are doing well too!!

Great job!

I am glad you are having such great losses!

I told them my goal was 150, now I'm starting to think that was unrealistic (I'm stalled right now ). I want to UP my goal weight now!

Found Breyers low carb ice cream. 1/2 cup has 90 calories and 4 net carbs. Chocolate is good! Needed something sweet and it doesn't kill the day. Yeah!

Quick question.... Had my appointment today and they told me about adding healthy fat back in. Olive oil is the only one that I can remember but can not recall the amount. Can someone fill in my blanks since my clinic is not open again until Tuesday? Also, does anyone elses clinic say no dairy or fruit until week three or four? I can add in the veggies this week and healthy fat only.
Thanks for your help!

Jaime, my 2nd week handout says for healthy fat : 12 small nuts (almonds, macadamia, cashews or peanuts), 2tsp olive oil, 1tbsp regular salad dressing, 1/4cup cut avocado or 1 tbsp peanut butter (smart balance). I was allowed dairy my first week. She did tell me if I could hold off on fruit until week 3 I'd see a greater loss in week 2, but it wasn't required. Congrats on your loss!

I saw the breyers low carb ice cream but was hesitant to try... I did however make the almond cookies from the dessert page and have one of those for my treat and healthy fat Good to see everyone doing well, I weigh in on mondays and I am hoping for a good week 6 number to share!

I like the Breyers carb smart ice cream. I asked the nutritionist at my clinic about it before I bought it and she said it was ok as long as it isn't an every day thing and as long as I just have one serving. I bought the fudge bars. Definitely satisfies a chocolate craving.

Lost 1.5 this week.
36.5 lost.
33.5 left to go.
I almost can't believe it.
The last 2 1/2 years, I have been even more depressed than before that and not being able to stay with whatever weight loss I tried (Quick Weight Loss & WW) that I almost just gave up ever being under 200 ever again.
But I was Also quite miserable at that weight and needed to do this for myself.

My overall experience with MWL so far is such that I would highly recommend to anyone in a position to buy a franchise to buy one.
This is an industry that is not going away anytime soon.
Of course you have to do research on the best location, neighborhood, town, or city to do that and MWL has their own people who do that, too.
I think there are only 5 (?) MWL locations in TX...not sure.

another 1.8 down! total 17.6 on week 7 weigh-in.

Twisted Suze I so understand what you said, I was in a very dark place just before the holidays (creaping back up to my very highest weight). The program I had before I just quite going because they were not listening/hearing me .. just wanted to push more of their product. I really needed a place to be accountable to an LC plan.. and the AS and injections really help, I accept that I need that help.
This industry is definately here for a long while. Why do we have to get so far up the scale before today's doctors even consider offering an AS or discussing LC as an option... I am very glad I investigated plans because seeing all our loses gives me faith.

to all of you!
