![]() Did you read about the guy whose e-cig blew up in his face? I was shocked to read about that. I don't want to scare you - this is the first time I've read about anything remotely bad with them. I just thought you should know. I'm glad it's working for you though! Cute new pic! |

well I just eat the same as weight loss mode but I have 3 or 4 meals a week that are 'free'. I think it is more of JUDD eating now.

Great work, I used to smoke and I know how hard it is to quit, I actually did it 2x before I figured out that it sucks and I dont want to do it a 3rd time. |

So inspirational
All you ladies on this particular thread have been very inspirational! I am day 2 of week one, and am looking forward to meeting my goal in 8-10 weeks. I definitely lost water weight yesterday, as all I did was pee!
Planning ahead is going to be very important, I can see that. I'll be glad when the first week is done. Thanks to this board for some great info for us newbies. |

Nice to meet you YLRAE! I am on my 15th week, just hit 138.6 this weigh in.
When I first joined Medi I had set a goal of 135, since I have been steady losing (average 1.8 per wk) I dropped my goal to my dream goal of 125... I never set a goal date, but I think in general to get in a bikini by summer was the main focus. You can do this, I wasn't to far off from where you are when I started |

Thanks!
That's so wonderful - yes, I have been hovering between 160 and 170 for about 7 years now (minus pregnancy time) and am so ready to see the 140s again. My dream would be 135, so maybe, like you, that will seem obtainable at some point. But right now 145 would be great.
Today is Day 4 and I'm in moderate ketosis. Headed to a family cook out shortly, so I'll take an AS and do my best! Yesterday I had a headache, but I read that day 3 can be hard. Thanks for the encouragement. You've done great! |

@ YLRAE - Hope you made it through the cook out!
@aim in Fla*working How are you doing? How is maintence going? Do you allow yourself more flex in what you eat or have you kept to the safe zone? I never really started back to a whole lot of fruit but had some raspberries today that seemed so much sweeter than they used to be !! Cheers to starting another week of healthy choices ![]() |

I did well, keeping to the grilled chicken and some cucumber salad that wasn't sweet. I'm sure it wasn't carb-free, but it was the better choice over mac-n-cheese! I lost 8 lbs the first week. Weighed in yesterday... so glad! Yesterday I had a salad and it was SO good to have a veggie.
Keep up your good work... I love to read about people's success stories and how they handle the challenges. (I did find that Kroger's carbmaster yogurt with crushed ice, some water and two scoops of a vanilla whey protein shake powder make a tasty smoothy in the morning.) |

Congrats on the first loss, it feels good to get a nice leap into the game!!!
I like having a shake for breakfast, it is so easy I dont have to think about it My weight did not change this week, but I did lose 2lbs of fat... still good in my book. I think there was only 1 week I went up (0.2) but lost fat then too. Happy Friday |
