Breakfast:
Usually protein shake w/ 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened), protein powder (low fat, carb, and sugar), and sugar free syrup Today I had an omelet with ham, spinach, mushrooms, and peppers - so good! Lunch: Mixed seeds/almonds salad w/ avocado Yesterday (and usually) I have a meat and veggie - I had a bunless burger with lettuce and pickles Dinner: Today: protein shake Usually something lighter like the salad Sunflower seed butter as a snack I can't have dairy on my plan, so I'm a bit limited. How about you? |

I try to rotate things a bit ...
breakfasts are either the Medi Vanilla Shake with 8oz Almond milk (unsweet of course) 1egg/4oz plain yogurt (sub in turkey sausge or 2 eggs) Lunch I like to do a cup of salad with sliced deli meats or tuna/chicken salad on some lettuce/salad mix with celery Dinner I have been trying alot of the recipes on here actually. Last night I did the Mexican meatloaf.. Chilies Relanos tonight ...but typically some form of meat w/ veggie. Snack - baby bell cheese light/celery/cucumber I am still a bit scared of fruit, I dont want to lose ketosis and I dont want them to make me crave sweets. The other night is when I was going to finally try jello again and found out it was not sugar free ![]() Love the weekends but they are the hardest with the hubs and son around

Congratulations!!! That's awesome! You must be so excited!
Do you use the appetite suppressants or the herbal? I have the AS and I try so hard to not take all 3 on the weekend, but I HAVE to take them during the week (always want to munch at work). I do eat more when I don't take all 3...so I will now take all 3 all the time. |

4th week and down 2.8, so total of 11.6 now
I didn't know they switched you to herbal when your at goal. Its my understand that your body will eventually adjust to the AS with time so that must be why they do that. Have you made it to goal and started herbal yet? |

Congratulations! That's an AWESOME loss!I lost 2.6 this week and my coach prepared me for it to slow down soon. I'm hoping it doesn't, but am prepared if it happens (I hope). Last edited by DD80; 02-06-2012 at 03:07 PM.. |

It happens, some days you just retain.... Did you reach goal at the clinic now? Or have you started maintainence? I am almost to where you started, but it seems you got to 125 quick so I hope I can repeat your success!

I am 5'4, when I started I told the clinic a goal of 135 but I told her today that since it seems to be going so well I would really prefer my dream goal of 125. Its funny you say triangle, I never saw myself as the "apple" or "pear" shape i kinda gained it all over like a oval lol

I just consider the Medi weight my official number and use the home scale for seeing ups/downs during the week, knowing my "real" number will be slightly different. |

How goes the weigh in's for you guys? I am going to have to start my weigh in's on Tuesday mornings vs. Monday evenings since (after 16 years) I got a new job... hope the stress of all the change doesn't stop my progress...I am thinking since I will be weighing in early it will drop my number a tad, which is ok with me

Hey Jolene
I was 125.5 at the clinic so 1/2 pound from goal in the afternoon. I am 124 at home in the morning. I have 2 free meals a week and then the rest of the time I am consuming about 700 cals of protein and I don't cound the celery and spinach I eat. I should hit goal by their standards next week. i am right before that timeof the month so I am sure i am retaining water. There is probably about 4 pounds difference USUALLY for me between morning and afternoon. |
