Walden Farms
So today I recieved my walden farms chocolate syrup in the mail. It tastes ok. But hey its 0 calories! So my question is does anyone have any ideas as to what i can do with it on the medi diet?

I make my frozen coffee with it, makes great mocha coffee frappes.
|
I use it in my protein shakes. 1 EAS AdvantEdge Carb Control shake, some Waldens Farm chocolate syrup, a pinch of xanthan gum, and ice in the blender makes an amazingly thick and delicious shake. I put the syrup in my Greek yogurt also.

thanks! how do you make the frappe?

I do one of 2 ways
If as my breakfast, I use 1/2 a chocolate protein shake, Atkins has a new chocolate mocha one I like. Then I have a mocha coffee concentrate, you could brew your own, and use 2 tsp. Walden choc syrup to taste and ice, blend until smooth. Top with couple TBSP of FF SF Land O Lake whipped cream If making as a dessert I use unsweetened almond vanilla milk or Hoods carb control milk 1/2-3/4 C, coffee concentrate, Walden chocolate syrup or Torani chocolate syrup, Truvia if needed, ice and whiped cream. All to taste. I often add Hershey's cocoa powder for even stronger chocolate goodness. My kids even beg for them, they are yummy! |
YUMMY!!!

This combination really "cuts" those cravings, actually satisfies them, for me. It's sort of a cross between chocolate pudding and chocolate cheesecake . The "tanginess" of the Greek yogurt contributes to the cheesecakey taste. Enjoy! Also, the Walden Farms chocolate dip is great with strawberries. |
