Hi Guys-
I'm on week 4 and totally missing eating chips.
Has anyone tried Trader Joe's Soy and Flaxseed Tortilla Chips?

I miss chips too. Hope someone has an alternative that can be store bought and not homemade.

I know, I was surprised too. Just a once in a while chip replacement, great with salsa and guacamole or tuna salad!

Hi All.....new here.

I'm on day 3 of the first week.
Doing alright so far.
Stuck to it to the letter, including drinking 128 oz. of fluid.
I keep waiting for that carb headache...my head feels tight now and then like I'm right on the esdge of a headache....but not full blown.
(Since I've typed that I'll probably get one now.)

We have pork rinds here in the house and they have 7 gms of protein per serving, 0 carbs....it's the extreme saltiness that makes me think MWL would not like those.

Won't know till I ask tomorrow.
I'll be going in for the mid-week shot.
My weigh-in is Thursday.

I'll edit my current weight in stats here after my weigh-in.

Yes, ask your clinic about the salt. But I will tell you that when I asked at mine, they told me to keep in mind that I am drinking a GALLON of water a day so salt isn't as big a factor. But my BP is normal so ask and see what yours says.

Have you considered a food deydrator and making your own "chips" with veggies? They're relatively inexpensive nowadays and are amazing to make things like dried fruits, and veggies, jerky etc. The veggies can be reconstituted for soups later on!. If that's not an option, very very low oven temperatures and a few sprays of pay on thin veggie slices might help your craving. like zucchini? carrots?
