losing, great job. 8.7 is an excellent start.
The exercising and the energy I have to put into it does feel great. My hunger is subsiding incredibly. I had one bad day last week or I think I would have had better numbers. The good news is I could not have started at a harder time so I think it will get easier. I had Labor Day weekend my first week and then week two I had a wedding. Fried Chicken and Bar B Que, I slipped but only slightly. Compared to what I would have done to that chicken two weeks ago it was nothing. Again great job especially the 4.5 of fat. |

Great job everybody!
It is nutty that we can be disappointed about no ketosis, low lbs lost etc. Isn't it? I keep telling myself that this is short term major restriction compared with other loss options of 1-2 lbs per week. Traveling this week is very hard. Went to Red Lobster last night and had to keep answering questions on why no bread and salad! I just wanted crab and broccoli. I have managed no slip ups so far but it has been tough! Believe me I thought about it! Having this board and you guys helps so much!!! Keep it up everyone. We WILL succeed! |

YES! Eating out is difficult! And then I hate bringing attention to myself by ordering such strange menu items LOL Plus the food eating out is so darn tasty it is hard to resist, but I have so far.
Except for the diet Coke and rum I had last weekend. No carbs though ![]() |

I had a bad night yesterday. Broke down and got ice cream. I feel bad this morning.
Anyone know what happens? Did I totally mess myself up? |

There is an ice cream called Arctic Zero I have heard good things about, perhaps try your local health food store? And don't beat yourself up about it, just move on and keep with the plan. |

Dear Diet Raspberry Snapple,
I love you! Thank you for turning this bummer of a week around. I can accept that you are made from the best stuff on earth (and possibly a few naughty chemicals). You are 16oz of deliciousness that I can water down and make 32oz of slightly less deliciousness. You are a great workout coach. I just walked 30 minutes round trip during lunch to buy you at the grocery store. I hope we continue to have great times together. Your friend Diet Peach is ok, but you will always be my #1! xoxo - Christina |

![]() I bought the 12 pack of bottles and threw it under my desk. I was just pushing it out of the way and someone came over to see if I was stashing a 12 pack of beer. |

Yes, any loss is good! I think every 12lbs or so is a dress/pant size? Seems so for me. That's where I am noticing the difference.
It is not hard to stay with plan, but I really need to start making recipes cause the food is getting monotonous and boring. I plan to hook up my Kitchen-Aid meat grinder and fresh grind up some chicken breasts since I loathe turkey. I saw the Snapple at my grocery today, but sadly no SF raspeberry. You did sell it very well LOL I'm definitely going to look for it in gas stations and such. I really would like to stay away from the sugar substitutes but it seems impossible. Does anyone have any data or recommendations on what sweetener is the safest? Going out of town again tomorrow, wish me luck on staying in ketosis and no weight gain! |

I also need to cook more sick of eatting the same thing. will try and look up more ideas. Good Luck everyone We can do this@ ![]() |

My first time making oopsie rolls they turned out fine. I made 6 large rolls and used them as PB and Jelly sandwiches each time I pulled one out of the freezer. I bought the PB2 powdered peanut butter and personally I think it tastes great. Bought the polaner's fiber jam at a grocery store.
Oopsie roll 55 to 60 calories. 2 TBS PB2 (makes a THICK pb sandwich spread on one roll) and 1 T jam. Add a cup of Almond breeze milk for 45 cal. YUM! 110 calories and I think 6 grams of carbs for sandwich (I just roll the roll, lol, in my hand and slather on the PB and jam). 155 if you add the milk (and 1 or 2 more carbs...too lazy to get up and check) Gotta make more this weekend! Give them a try! |

I made the Oopsie rolls for the first time this week ... I added 3 tsp of Splenda, 1 tsp of cinnamon & a dash of nutmeg.
I have 2 co-workers with gluten allergies and 2 more that do low-carb, and they all absolutely flipped over them. And my husbands swears he's found his new favorite treat. lol I was going to try them this weekend with savory flavors ... like maybe with some garlic, dried onions ... and maybe a little LF shredded cheddar. I've been having a hard time getting in enough calories, especially when I'm working out ... and these are definitely helping! |

@maryT8m On the list the clinic gave me it lists edomame as a snack. If edomame is fine I would think the soy beans are fine too. I will however check with the clinic if I cant eat them now it will be a great maintence food. I hope they are fine though as I am not such a huge meat eatter. I am still in Ketosis so that is good.
I have not made the oppsie roll yet but would like to try. |

When can we do dairy? I have pulled the oopsie recipes to be ready! They sound great!
I tried the walden farms honey mustard dressing. It is good and zero everything! Going out with book club next week and I am taking it with me! Couldn't go to MWL cause of travel, but weighed at home and down 2.2 lbs. Yeah! Can't wait till weigh in next friday. |

Thanks city-gal. I also found the one minute muffins. Going to do a netrition order to give them a try. It would be great for breakfast.
I checked with the clinic and they said just to watch the calories and keep to 25 or less carbs. |

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? I had not been to the clinic for 2 weeks but was happy to see I was down 7 pounds. Still going strong and trying to adjust.
