Ready to Start
I just joined Medi Loss but because of prior social events that involve food, I am not going to actually start the program until tomorrow. I'm kind of nervous because food is such a big part of my life and I am afraid to fail. For those of you who have joined can you share with me your experience? I'd love to hear how you have succeeded in the first week. 500 calories a day sounds pretty bleak to me and I'm not sure that is healthy.
With the R/X 500 calories a day was enough. Food has become a greater part of my life on this plan as it has made me cook more, buy new types of proteins / fish to try out. Experiment with cooking methods / vegetables and seasonings.
As far as it being unhealthy, put some faith in the M.D. and Nutritionist.
With the prescription, I'm often struggling to get all of the calories I need!
As long as you get a little creative with what you're eating and try a bunch of different things, and drinking all of your water, the week will fly right by relatively painlessly.
I highly recommend dill pickle spears and sugar free jello if your clinic allows that for you the first week. Mine did, and they really helped a ton.
