First followup visit at clinic

For the people going to a clinic doing a program what happens in the first followup visit? Weight and talk about how its going, calorie increase, add in vegetables and fruit? check ketones or what? I was just curious, my clinic operates like Medi so they should follow the same protocol.

My clinic did exactly what you posted. I got booklet handout on what types of fruit/veggies with nutritional info. I was told to stay away from corn, potatoes, carrots.

1st week followup visit

So do they check the urine for ketone levels? Is that a regular thing?

I went for my first weigh in today. They weighed again, went over the labs from last week, but no Ketone check. I do have a question for some of the older members. When you add in veggies/fruit are those calories on top of the protein source calories or included. I am on the 1000 calorie for week on and now onto week 2. So do I include the veggies in the 1000 I guess is the easy way to ask this. Thanks and good luck workoutgirl. Oh by the way I got scolded for working out my first week.

They don't do keytone tests at follow up visits as far as I know ... and the fruit & vegetable calories do NOT count toward your protein calories.
