I am a runner and also burn lots of calories each day with my runs. When I joined Medi, I was told no exercise for the first week at all. They said my body would be adjusting to all the changes and I would likely be very tired, so I should avoid the exercise Week 1, and then take it slow beginning in Week 2.
I've learned, though, that every clinic is different (my clinic allows cheese the first week, and many others do not), so just stick with what your specific clinic tells you.
