I just wrapped up week 4 and I am dealing with painful bloating and water weight. Has anyone else dealt with this and if so, what did you do?
My counselor said that I may need to drink more water because my body is not geeting enough and therefore retaining. She also suggested a diuretic tea.
For the past 4 weeks I have been losing fat weight, but for the past two weeks, I have been gaining in water weight.

My guess is that it probably IS that you are not drinking enough water. As a long time yo-yo dieter, when I was on a "program" I would NEVER drink at all, or very little on the day I was going to weigh in! With the scales at the center I couldn't do that any more, because the scale always "told" on me!
