RESULTS ONLY: What did you accomplish in April?

I went to post on the April results thread but saw that the 2nd half was devoted to those on maintenance. This being my 2nd weigh-in I wanted to post not just my accomplishments for April but what others on the program have been able to do in April.


Started Medi (round 2): April 18, 2011
Total Weightloss for April: -11.3
Biggest Challenge: No bowling alley food, soda, or beer on my Monday night league.
Goal for May: lose 10lbs!

I lost 11.5 pounds which is really good for me. I also went down a size in my pants and lost about 8". My goal for May is to stay on track and lose at least 2 pounds a week.

And here I am with with the same goal for May I had for April - get back to my original weight at the end of acute. Entire April was a rollercoaster of gaining and losing the same 8 pounds. And there were not water pounds - they were really good solid fat pounds. So on May 1st I am where I was on April 1st. Mainetance is hard. I am full of hope and determination that May will be better than April.

I started on April 5th and as of yesterday I lost a total 18.2lbs!
I'm feeling so good about that.

Um, well I gained 5 lbs. and 5% fat! How's that for an accomplishment???

All kidding aside - it was a lesson learned. Irina, the only thing we can do is start right now. One day at a time - one hour or even one minute at a time if that's what it takes. We got here successfully so we know for a fact, we have the strength to keep it off. We've already proven it!

My goal for May is to work out consistently. The numbers where I was most happiest was when I was 125 lbs and 23% fat. Right now I'm trying my hardest to focus on eating primarily protein and around 800-1000 calories to get rid of the cravings. Today is my 9th wedding anniversary so I'm going to splurge this evening but am planning to keep things in perspective portion wise so I can start again tomorrow.

I really want to look decent in shorts this summer. My legs/thighs are my absolute worst feature.

Great job for those who lost in April and GOODLUCK to those who are working hard for their goals in May. My goal is to lose 10lbs in May so hopefully I can do it. I am trying to lose at least 40lbs before my wedding in September. I absolutly love my dress but dont like some of the bulges in it, def. not something I want to see in my photos.

Good job everyone!!

I started on April 12 and lost 10.4 lbs. I am pretty proud of myself since I didn't really know what to expect. Let's hope it's even better for May!

I lost 19.6 pounds in April! Very excited. Wanted to be at 20 but they nurse reminded me I'd be at 20 pounds by the next day.

I started Medi on March 21st, and as of and of April have lost 16.5 pounds, most of it fat, which has been great for me, and very very exciting. Also lost 4 inches off my waist and spending some time this weekend pulling out the size 14 clothes. Have some work slacks that are falling off me, very motivating! Also in April had to adjust to using SS instead of the prescription due to blood pressure issues, and glad to say that has worked out fine. And my blood pressure has dropped lower than it was previously. Overall April was a very motivating month, also when I found this message board, which I love!
