Losingitnow stick with it! I am in week three and went to exercise last night. I could really tell a difference! The only way to describe it is lighter on my feet. If you think you want to quit, wait one more week. I bet you will be glad you did!
I can honestly say this is the FIRST time I have ever tried to lose weight and made it this far! Only one slip up. I have always cheated some. But not this time!
Seeing the fast results has made this difference, along with all the great support and rssults here!

Thanks for the inspiration everyone. I think Im self destructive when it comes to dieting. I try to sabotage myself so that I can say the diet failed me. I have stuck to this one like glue so far. I'm hoping to see those fast results myself.

We all are! Example is my cheat in week two! I am glad I didn't quit as I am really feeling the differnce. My son even told me last night I was looking 'smaller'!

Thanks for the warm welcome, y'all!! I'm so happy to be back on Medi! It's a little easier this time because I know what to expect! The hardest part of this week for me was that my hubby's co-workers threw him a party and sent home one of those gigantic cookie cakes It has been staring at me all week, but I'm proud to say, I've stayed away!

Anyway, good luck with losing it this time, you are going to do great!!!
Congrats on the babies!
Thanks so much, angelbaby!! We also have a 2 and 4 year old. It took longer to conceive either of them than it did with the twins, and I 100% believe it was because of the weight!! It's crazy to think that when I went in to deliver my twins, I still weighed LESS than when I STARTED with either of their pregnancies!!

I will be thinking of you on throughout this journey and sending lots of baby dust your way!

Some people have their location listed on their posts. Look on the left-side of their post, under their avatar picture, and you may see if they have chosen to disclose their location.

Thanks for all the support! The first week really sucked but i enjoyed a salad for lunch and it was like heaven. I have so many allergies which includes fish and shellfish that it really restricts the meat choices ugh!

I have been at this four almost four months now, and I have to admit, I want pizza tonight SOOOOOO bad. But, I came on this site, read your posts and how you are struggling through, and so I remain solid.
Thank you for your sharing and thank you to everyone who cheered her on, because it helped me tonight, too!
God bless, and keep on losing!

AngelBaby hang in there we all suffer the same in our struggle for weight loss. I've only done MWL for a week but so many other diets have come and gone. I think the difference is this time I'm thinking in forever term. I'm not someone who ever ate "alot" but I ate ALL the wrong things! I still find myself craving the occasional sweet and once I reach my goal that will be ok occasionally so I tell myself in a few months my life will be forever changed. Hang in there with us and know this bulletin board is amazing for help and support. Keep posting here so we can see how well you are doing and use you for encouragement as well.

I think everyone is different, I still lost 3 lbs but gained in water. But the following week everything was back to normal.

I'll let you know next week

When I had it last month, I still lost, but not as much and my water weight was up. Nothing that didn't correct itself the next time.

I started on day 3 (1st positive test for ketosis) of the diet, which was a week early, worrisome to me because I'm on BCP. Went for a week - 2 days longer than normal - then started again 2 weeks after that.

So far, gone 3 weeks without and my fingers crossed. lol

My gyn said that it's common to get out of whack for awhile while you're on this kind of a diet, but not to worry about it, it will straighten itself out at some point.

I can tell the weight loss has slowed from my period about 3 days ago I started feeling it. The PMS cravings don't help either. Again as a self sabatoure my head is telling me this diet isn't going to work. I'm fighting the negativity. I guess because I'd like to lose like .5lbs a day ( which is rediculous). I'm a "i want it now" kind of person to the point that when I ask someone to do something and they dont start it right away i just do it myself. Why did i ever have to gain so much weight? Is this a test of patience? Today im struggling.

WOW that's a substantial loss! See, you had nothing to worry about. Every weigh in I think it's not going to be much, and I'm always pleasantly surprised.

Down 4 pounds but 0 fat. Interesting - they said I wasn't eatting enough protein as some days I don't get to my 500. I also had 2 days were I was very hungry as I didn't get to eat on time, which the clinic said would cause my body to go after muscle instead of fat.
Going to try to keep better watch. Still, down 4 lbs!

Hi everyone. This is my first post. I started MWL last Friday and... so far, so good. I'm looking forward to my weigh-in this week. I'm a little bit hungry but I keep busy and ignoring it. I am so excited for this program and so happy I found this website so I can read all your amazing results! You are all so inspiring! And I am learning some great tips on how to survive and stay motivated! Thanks!

My first day

Hello everyone, I wanted to say that as my first day comes to a close, I am glad to say that I made it through. I was nervous today because of course, I did not think I would be satisfied throughout the day, but much to my surprise after I got passed the feeling I felt at lunch time for about an hour (or less), I did good. I am proud to be apart of this plan and hope on my first weigh in, I do as well as I anticipate. Much success to each of you on this individual journey and thanks so much for the support.

Hi All! I am new to the site and just completed day 4. I haven't had any problems with hunger and I've only had one headach. On the con side, though, I've been feeling very agitated. I checked my calendar and apparently its about time for my cycle... I know, TMI, but I feel like I'm on ten. I also sweat with minimal exertion. Is this normal?

Hello Rozzie and Kayla congrats on going MWL. The first week is by far the toughest just remember if you can get through that the rest is easy. Remeber to drink tons of water that helps with the hunger and the headaches. Keep posting and let us join in on your success. It helps all of us to see how well everyone is doing! Kayla I was sweating like crazy the first week. So normal or not your not alone lol.
