Wow....I was surprised yet relieved  that I am not alone here. I gained almost 10 pounds these past few weeks but have maintained my overall loss since reaching my lowest weight in October. I joined MWL in Feb 2010.
I re-started the program at my center this week and finished Day 2. I did buy the fat burners and the chocolate protein shake. Been a little cranky (just ask my husband!) but overall feel more focused this time around. I really need to get back to exercising. Has anyone bought the interactive program? Is it worth it? Good Luck all!!

- it is still very upsetting). I am hovering around that weight and not finding my original resolve and motivation to lose these pounds. It is those evening snacks/desserts that keep me from reaching that goal. Every morning I say to myself that it will be just 1 small snack and every evening I blew it. I absolutely refuse to start on the slippery slope of gaining as I have done many times in the past. How to master maintenance? What is the secret?

Despite our number-on-the-scale goals, I think our bodies tell us when we reach a zone that it is comfortable. I can get into the 160's but can't seem to stay there. This time I'm hoping by re-starting after 6 mos that my body thinks it's always been 180 and these last 30 pounds are do-able. At some point I think I will know when to transition into maintenance.
Irina, you should be so proud of your success!! |

Thank you, Susan. Good luck to you. You will get there. I always thought I could not get past 160 and got to 140 and stayed there for a while. Everything is possible. What seems "impossible" to me is keeping this weight. Yet there are people on this board who have reached their goal and staying in it for months and saying that it is getting easier and easier (post from ANNK). So IT IS POSSIBLE! So I will keep looking... |
