need advice for eating out
I'm in week 1 - and we have two dinners to go to this weekend We committed to going over a month ago, prior to our decision for me to do Medi. Just bad timing and it falls in week 1.
Tonight We're going to a Japanise Hibatchi/Sushi place. so that shouldn't be TOO hard....Now I don't eat FISH. YUCK I try and try and just can't do it! I DO eat Scallops though...and sometimes shrimp. I'm going to continue to TRY. I may just have to say the hell with how it tastes and just suffer through it..but not right now. Now I know not to eat the veggies/rice. That's not an issue. And I'm pretty sure I can ask the chef to NOT cook mine with the Terryiaki..So I'm thinking I can probably deal with tonight ok.... Tomorrow we are going to BoneFish Grill. Again..yuck fish. Any suggesstions? (please don't say "dont go" because that is not an option. I'm going to just have to do the very best I can) |

I ate out quite a bit on acute. It's easy to order a chicken breast grilled dry without butter or oil. You get a lot of bang for your buck with shrimp if you can tolerate that as well. DO NOT do teriyaki.

This thread has some good thoughts:
Medi-Friendly Dining Out There is also a Travel Support thread that has good advice in it as well. Travel Support Those should help a bit. Jo |
