Someone on another thread said seeing my results inspired them to take the leap and try Medi Weightloss! That is a great feeling.

Today I was trying on jeans and putting away the big sizes that no longer fit (yay!!) I came across a pair that have been too small for over 5 years. I almost put them up in the closet for later on when I stopped and decided just to see how much more I had to go till they fit and guess what they fit now!! Yay!

I finally fit into my jeans from 2 babies ago( so 3 years ago). They are a size 13/14 and they are falling down. I only saw a 1.4 lb loss this week on the scale but my jeans are showing me a different look as well as my tops. My arms have always carried some weight and I'm finally more comfortable in my shirts instead of feeling like they are suffocating my arms. I need to find my next smallest size pair of jeans and see if they fit since these are so loose (and they didn't fit at all 2 weeks ago).

Well, this is both good
and bad I was patting myself on the back for having my "patriotic" AND fashionable outfit all ready for the 4th of July, but this evening we went out to dinner with friends and I put my size 12 white shorts on, and they were too big!! This is only the second time I've worn them. I went ahead and wore them anyway thinking no one would notice, but what do you think the FIRST thing my friend said? "You need new shorts....those are too big"I felt GREAT, but hate to (sort of) have to go buy more white shorts!

I decided to try on my size 12's last night since my 13/14's kept falling down. I can button and zip them but when I sit they still dig into my thighs (but I can button and zip them!!!!) So I can't wear them full time YET but I can get into them, so I will have to deal with my other jeans falling down for a lil bit longer!!!! Woohoo.

I just wanted to "bump" this thread back up so maybe the new people will be inspired, and also will "relate" to many of the NSV we've all had! This is such a fun thread, I hope we can keep it going!
![]() Mine for today is that I was able to return to the gym for the first time in a month. I decided to take it easy (and am I ever glad I did) I walked 10 min, then RAN 10 minutes, and cooled down for another 10 minutes.... walking, then stretched. By the time I got home I was completely wiped out! I had no idea that shingles could be so debilitating.....BUT my energy level IS improving daily!![]() ![]() |

Ok--I was needing some motivation and found this thread...thanks for bumping it Mary!
Went on my 4 1/2 to 5 mile bike ride this AM and completed it in 25 minutes!! Incredible!! I was booking it! My legs are becoming more solid =) Now getting ready for a swim. The new mentality I've been trying to adopt is to be consistent and exercise just 3 to 4 days a week. |

I just shared this in the whoo hoo section, but it's a pretty huge NSV for my marriage so I thought I'd share it here, too.
The biggest NSV I will ever get came today (besides fitting into my 12 year old son's skinny jeans): My husband, who has always been a ruthless jerk when it comes to fat people, and has been especially cruel to ME about my weight over the years, said to me today, "Honey, when do you think you are going to STOP losing weight? You are starting to look a little gaunt." I didn't do this for him, but I am still glad he finally realized I **AM** skinny again. And btw I am only a few pounds below "overweight", not an extremely low BMI at all, but my face for some reason has gotten really thin this time around (probably my age). I still have 16 pounds to goal.
