Water Weight Loss
Hi! I've been doing Medi since July and as of last week had lost 11.5 lbs... all fat. Today I went and was very excited (and surprised) to have lost 4 more lbs. When I got home and looked at my overall weight loss it showed that 3.5 lbs. of today's weight loss was water. Now I feel discouraged... should I? I have not had any weeks where I've lost water weight, only fat weight. Should I be doing something differnent? Am I likely to gain the 3-4 lbs. back by my next appt? My counselor was very excited when she told me I had lost 4lbs. and she had the readout in front of her, so is it normal????

Hello and welcome to the forum!
Bring your query over to our monthly thread and there are a lot of people who will help and support and encourage you. Also several people in the medical profession who can offer answers. There are now so many threads in this forum that it is impossible to get to all of them. Most of us pop into the monthly thread, the newbie thread, the maintainance thread, and the recipe threads on a regular basis. Unfortunately, some threads that are begun just get lost in the midst of them all. Here is a link to our monthly thread: *Outstandingly Outrageous October 4 MWL* ..and do not get hung up on the water weight...a loss is still a loss. Jo
