My Medi Weight Loss Clinic
I have lots of questions, but cannot find a thread where the program is outlined and where questions are asked and answered.
My clinic has a website and it looks like they prescribe Phentermine. Is it safe? I am perpetually hungry so I need something, esp. with only 500 cal. that 1st week. Is there a place where there is a faq on this plan? |

PS
Im taking phentermine.. and i have read alot about it..
It is safe... and it sure works! Although, I reccomend not drinking alcohol with it.Even though, this program reccomends no alcohol anyway.. All the best to you! |

The first three days will be tough (at least from my experience.) But after your body gets past the carbohydrate withdrawl you really will be satisfied with the 500 calories if you get those from protein.
I haven't been on the phentermine since my blood pressure was initially high (but now it is very normal after just 6 weeks in the program). I have been using the Stay Slim and it has worked great for me. If you have concerns about the phentermine they can put you on the stay slim but they tell me it isn't as powerful.

The first three days of any diet are going to be crazy tough, my doctor didn't know what medi was, and wanted to read about it before she signed me off, but she never got back to me, so I just started the diet without the drugs. Maybe it's too early to tell but I'm on day 5 and I have had no cravings what so ever. Although the first 3 days were hard, whenever I felt really hungry I drank a glass of water, a cup of chicken stock, or powerade zero. Being all bloated with liquid is so much better than that hunger pang!

Thanks you guys! I am not new to lc as I do Atkins all the time and have lost 10 lbs. My problem is that I keep falling off the wagon. I am pre diabetic and take 1 tab of metformin per day but I am oh so hungry within an hour of eating.
I'm going to Hawaii in Oct. so I need some kind of jump start. My mediclinic has a great special going on right now. I'll probably start within a couple weeks. |
