Hi All,

I started Medi in March till April end and lost 20lbs...I stopped going to Medi after hitting my goal and in maintence phase. The good thing is that i have maintained my weight till now without any medications.

However, I have noticed from past two-three weeks that i am gaining weight from my tummy..the scale is showing the same weight.:eek:

Medi member can you please advice me what could be the reason. I dont workout because of two small kids but i do go for walk/run 1 and 1/2 mile a day. I cant afford to go back to Medi..pls advice what could be the reason...this is really freaking me out.

Also, I am trying to eat according to the maintence goal sheet plan..thanks!

Hi Mcocopie - sorry your message hasn't been answered yet! 20 lb loss is great! Congratulations!

A few questions:

Are you going back once a month for your maintenance visits so you can address these issues with your clinic?

Are you tracking your carbs and calories by recording everything you put in your mouth? Carbs need to be under 100g but I personally keep mine around 50g because I know what my body can and cannot handle.

You said you don't work out but you are running 1 1/2 miles a day. I'm confused. Medi (and the FDA) recommends that to maintain weight, one must exercise 60-90 minutes at moderate to high intensity for most days of the week.

I'm also confused by your stomach getting bigger but your weight not changing. There might be some underlying condition you might need to have checked out.
