Omega-3 question
When I first started, I was not taking omega-3. They did not prescribed to me since I don't have a high cholestorol. I was wondering if there are other good reasons to add that supplement, especially now being on this VCLD for more that 4 months and losing 75 lb. I am juts worried that I am not getting enough nutrients. Any advice on this?

Wow 75 lbs! Way to go!!!
I only lost 36 lbs and the nutritionist at my clinic, handed me the omega 3s and said, "If you want to keep your hair, take these." There are lots of benefits to omegas though. Google is your friend! |

WTG on 75 lb.!! That's awesome!!
I just started taking them, but I'm going to get something different than the Medi ones. They give me horrible fishy burps. Gross! |

I'm not taking them, they weren't suggested to me, but now I think I'm going to go get me some. I'll just get some OTC. I haven't had a problem with hair loss yet but I don't want it to happen. Plus I know the omegas are also good for skin and nails, and I have had a problem with brittle nails. Thanks for the suggestion.

I wonder why Omegas aren't suggested for everyone? I also wasn't suggested the Omegas but will make the preventive decision to get some from Walgreens (I think vitamins are BOGO this week). I have noticed that I am shedding a bit more than usual. I want to lose weight not my hair!

From what I understand, there's a "deluxe" starter kit that has it in it and a regular starter kit. I wasn't given an option apparently as I just found out there was a difference last week while the Medi video was playing in the waiting area.

Throw the fish oil in the freezer - in the time it takes them to 'thaw' they should be far enough in your digestion system to not give you those nasty fishy moments....
Omega 3 is great for you in many ways - make sure you to get a high quality capsule. |
