starting today before actually starting
I'm waiting for a call back from the clinic but while I wait I've decided to start on my LC way of eating. I curious about why I see everyone using egg beaters and not plain ol' eggs. Also, am I correct in reading that week 1 consists of 500 calories of protein daily and nothing more? So, extremely low cal and zero carb? Why is that? I can get into ketosis with 1200 cals and under 20 carbs. I'm sure I'll have all these questions answered when I visit the clinic but I'm curious.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, thats pretty much week 1. Really low cal and zero cals. I use egg-whites and egg-beaters instead of eggs all the time... I get more bang for my buck that way. Its low carb to get you into ketosis and low cal for obvious reasons
Good luck in week 1... Im doing a 'week 1' day today after not having the best weekend so Im right there with you. |
