Oh yes, it's amazing what 30 lbs makes you feel like :P

So much more energized and always want to go out and do such :P

I've weaned off the appetite suppressant completely now and only sticking to the fat burner and all the other supplements.

It's crazy how much of a difference you can already tell

Sally, sorry for the super late response, but honestly I don't cook meals. I stick with lunch meat, yogurt, and cheese. With the almonds for snacks etc. It's VERY boring, but doing the job. Also make sure to get the veggies/fruit part in.

Anyway to the week four results -
Lost 5 lbs , 35 lbs for the first month!

So far this week I have lost another 5, but I go by the medi scale not mine... so we will see on thursday

Well I had a weigh in today...

Week 5
-5
Total - 40 lbs lost to date.

I am retaining 3 lbs of water though, I'm getting plenty of fluids, although most of it powerade zero. Is that the problem? O.O

Wow! You are doing great!!!

My clinic said to drink a minimum of 16 oz. of electrolyte beverages. They did not give me a max & I didn't ask. I usually drink 3 or 4 of the 32 oz bottles of Powerade Zero a day. That may be way too much, but that's what I do!

Very Slow Loss

Hi, Just 4 weeks into the program. I am very motivated, but a little discouraged with my loss so far. Just 9lbs. in four weeks. I think I'm doing so well and sticking to the program, but the results are sooooo slow! I did find out in week 3 that I wasn't eating enough! I'm not that hungry so I just don't bother. You absolutely have to eat at least 500 cal. of protein! I haven't been eating carbs either. Just basically Not Enough!
I am over 55, have 30 lbs to loose, and started walking and excercising regularly. I feel like I've lost 20 lbs because my clothes feel so much better and I do also! The scale is my enemy!!
So any advice on getting my head into this???

Keep in mind I'm an 18 year old

Just look at the big picture, how different you will fee; when it's all gone. Also 9lbs is about 1/3 of your weight loss! Don't expect it to fall off over night. I know for a fact it took me 18 years to peak at my beginning weight, so I just make miniature goals for myself.

First one was lose 40, next one is 60, etc etc

Just make sure you are following the plan to the 'T' and everything will work out

Don't worry about it so much. Some weight loss is always better than none at all. Right? From what I have been told/understand, it usually takes a little longer when you don't have a huge amount to lose. I get a little jealous when I see people losing like 10 pounds in their first week, when I only lost a little over 5....but I try to keep going because as long as the scale is getting lower, I'm happy. We'll get there eventually!

Remember too what people's starting weight is. If you only have 30lbs to lose and you are comparing yourself to someone who has 100lbs to loose of course yours will come off slower. Hang in there everyone, and just follow the plan as you were told, and try really hard not to compare yourself to others. This is about you, and your health not everyone around you. Everyone is doing amazing. WE should all be proud of ourselves.

Awesome work SLCDragon! I hate to bemoan the fact that men, especially young men, lose weight so much faster than women but, aaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!!

Now that it is out of my system, you are doing fabulous!!!

Haha why thank you. My clinic also allows one 'cheat meal' a week, the same day every week after 40 lbs.. so it's like I'm eating right to get my little carb session :P It also keeps my metabolism in check

Keep it up everyone!

HI Jake!
Great job. What is your favorite thing to eat? I like to put the turkey pepperoni in the micro for 1 min. They turn crunchy like chips. Yum.

4 weeks-23lbs down, feeling good

Welcome Michelle! The program is great.. it honestly is!

My favorite thing to eat... hm... LOL to be honest I stick to meat and cheese(with my veggies of course) , but every once in a while I do the turkey pepperoni if I crave something crunchy. Oh my are those things delicious! haha

Then on thursdays I rotate my 'free' meal from breakfast foods to dinner etc. every week to get in all those little cravings I may have xD

I'm sure not at my goal, but I HAVE to post about my most fantastic day! Yesterday my husband surprised me for my 59th B-Day (which is actually today) with a tandem skydive! I have waited 40 years for this! I had the opprotunity to try skydiving when I was 19 but didn't have the $150 OR the confidence to do this alone! Then about 2 years ago some friends did this tandem skydive, but I was on the verge of being too fat so couldn't do it then either.....you have to weigh LESS than 230lbs. Now that I have lost 38 lbs I could do it, and had the most wonderful time. My thighs are bruised from the harness being so tight, but for once, my weight didn't stand in the way of my doing something I wanted to do! My weightloss has given me the confidence and motivation to keep losing more weight, and my plan is to take skydiving lessons in a few months so I can do this on my own at least once!
