Protein Grams
I have a question regarding grams. How many protein grams are required on the medi weight loss diet?

It depends on your weight. I started @ 650, but now I am @ 550. Next week I will be at 500 which seems to be the standard.

Thats 500 calories from protein-type foods not 500 GRAMS of protein, at least Im 95% sure. I wasnt given a number to shoot for, just the calories of protein-foods to eat (which for me is around 6-700 a week).

I have this same question, and I searched some bodybuilding sites. I think that for my 800 calories per day, means I will get way more protein than my mom who has only been told to have 500. My muscle mass is more than hers.
I have been wondering...since I am counting calories and carbs, I would like to know about the protein also. Anybody know the guidelines? |

Protein and carbs both have 4 calories per gram - fat has 9 calories per gram.
If you were going to approximate (not everything is pure protein that we are eating) you would go for 125 grams of protein - (125 x 4 = 500) |
