Incorporating exercise
I spent all of last year going to a gym 5-6 days a week and worked with a trainer 2 of those days for much of that year (and no, I did not lose any weight:annoyed:). My memebership ran out and I bought some of The Firm videos (I have enjoyed those in the past). Long story short, I have not done cardio or strength training for about a month and am ready to start exercising again!!
My counselor nonchalantly just told me to eat 100 extra protein calories before a workout. After I've thought about it, not sure if that means when I do a 50 min. strength training video, when I walk for 30 minutes, when I do hardcore cardio....know what I mean? No matter what, do I just eat 100 extra calories to fuel the workout, and that's it...no more worries? Sorry to be so long winded. :p And, thanks for your input!! :) Oh, and I'm on week 3 :) |
Take a look at this thread, and see if you can find some answers there. A lot of people have responded on that issue:
